External Sales Executive
DEPARTMENT AND LOCATION: Print (Gauteng)
JOB PURPOSE
Taropa Technologies is looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable External Sales Executive specializing in Print Devices to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales and customer engagement. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service to clients interested in our products and solutions. This position requires the candidate to be based at the designated location.
DUTIES AND TASKS
The duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned from time to time:
- Product Presentation and Demonstration.
- Gather market and competitor information.
- Generate sales leads and meet or exceed sales goals and targets.
- Provide product information, pricing, and technical support to clients.
- Identify new customers and market opportunities and convert these into sales.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and customer visits, including site visits; client proposals and presentations; new product introductions and training.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and products.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions and deliver weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Prepare quotations, internal order forms, and purchase orders through email and internal systems.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Proven Sales experience in the PRINT industry – Essential
- In-depth knowledge of the brand and its products.
- Strong client care & customer service experience – Essential.
- Offer dealers Product Training on a regular basis.
- Strong analytics, interpretation, and reporting.
- Own reliable vehicle – Non negotiable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Territory Management.
- Sales Generation
